Michael Brewer to Lead Middle Market Assurance Practice

Baltimore, Maryland – Brian M. Davis, Managing Director and CEO of ClearView Consulting, LLC has announced the addition of Michael Brewer as a Director with the firm.  Michael will be responsible for leading attest and financial reporting engagements.  He will also have responsibilities on consulting engagements related to due diligence, enterprise risk management, internal audits, litigation support, and process improvements. 

 ClearView is a CPA and management consulting firm, which provides a broad spectrum of services including general accounting, tax compliance and consulting, risk management, and supplier contract reviews.

Brewer has been a strategic advisor for over 20 years; representing organizations that range from rapid-growth start-ups, to veteran, industry leaders in their market.  His most recent experience includes 3 years with Clifton Gunderson, where he served in the Assurance and Business Risk Services practice.    In addition to holding leadership positions at other regional accounting firms, he has also held the position of Director of Internal Audit at U.S. Food Services, the second largest food distributor in the U.S.

Michael graduated from Louisiana State University, with a Bachelor of Science in accounting. He is a member of the AICPA, a member of the leadership committee of the IIA-Baltimore, and serves as an Advisor to the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business MBA Program Action Learning Program.
