Clearview Group was engaged by Discovery, Inc. to provide co-source SOX & Internal Audit services during two major transitions for the business. Discovery, Inc. relocated its headquarters from Silver Spring, Maryland to New York City, New York and during that process executed on a major acquisition of Scripps Network. Through those transitions, Discovery Inc.’s Internal Audit department experienced some natural attrition from the headquarter relocation and the acquisition of Scripps increased the workload for the department significantly which created the need for a co-source relationship to address surge needs.

With aggressive year-end completion targets, Discovery, Inc.’s Internal Audit team looked to Clearview Group’s Risk Advisory practice to assist supporting SOX and Internal Audit requirements. In this support role, Clearview provided arms and legs testing to support key financial and IT controls testing, as well as liaise with the external auditor.
