Managing Director, Business Development


Rich Compton is a co-founder of Clearview Group, and serves as the firm’s Managing Director of Business Development. Rich has a reputation of being a consistent and proven problem solver, which has contributed to him establishing deep, trusted relationships with business executives and professionals across the country in his 20+ years working in the accounting and advisory fields. He is responsible for driving the Firm’s business development efforts across all service lines, and continuing the firm’s expansion and growth in both established and new markets.

Clients of the firm remark about his ability to understand a wide range of business challenges and align them with the right experts to help see them through to a successful outcome. He has worked with C-level executives, management, and financial leadership at organizations of all sizes in the public, private and non-profit arenas.

Rich is a board member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Baltimore Chapter and chairs their annual Chief Audit Executive Roundtable. He is also heavily involved in the various community events that Clearview supports including Ronald McDonald House and Marion House.


Rich is a graduate of Bucknell University, where he studied Accounting and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
